Second edition TopWine China confirms the leading status of the show!

The second edition of the truly international dedicated wine exhibition and conference TopWine China reconfirms the exhibition as the most important wine show in Beijing and the northern part of China.

No less than 125 overseas exhibitors (2010: 53) representing world famous vineyards from all over the world and over 100 Chinese exhibitors (2010: 52) and 5396 professional visitors (3450 in 2010) were brought together in Beijing from May 24 to 26, 2011. There were 5182 domestic visitors from 135 cities of 30 provinces, and 214 foreign visitors from 26 different countries.

Due to the success of the 2011 event, the organisers expect a considerable growth of Western as well as Chinese exhibitors at TopWine China 2012.

They have therefore decided to move the exhibition in 2012 to the prestigious and purpose-built China National Convention Center (CNCC) in the heart of Beijing Olympic Green.

In 2012 TopWine China will take place from June 4 up to and including June 6.

4 - 6 JUNE, 2012 BEIJING

China National Convention Center

In 2012 TopWine China will move to the prestigious and purpose-built China National Convention Center (CNCC) in the heart of Beijing Olympic Green. The exhibition hall with only three pillars can be easily divided into 4 self-contained acoustically independent sections. The lowest ceiling height is 10 metre.

Sitting in the center of the Olympic commercial circle between Beijing's fourth and fifth ring roads, CNCC boasts an enviable location. It's only 30 minutes' drive to the airport and the subway station is connected with CNCC's basement which enables people to quickly go to the city center, the airport, the Beijing Railway station, the central business district, and many tourist attractions such as Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City or Summer Palace. It takes only one hour from CNCC to the renowned Great Wall and Ming Tombs.

Within 1 km radius, there are 3 five star hotels, 7 four star hotels and more than 10 three star hotels and apartments, totalling over 5,000 rooms. Dining, shopping and entertainment facilities are easily available nearby.

The international exhibitors were highly satisfied with this second edition of
TopWine China.

As Mr. Herve Henrotte, wine and spirits division manager Ubifrance, put it: "This is the second time that I attended TopWine China and perhaps I am also the first who decided to participate at TopWine China in 2010. Compared to 2010 I could clearly feel that not only the organisation of the show was more professional, the quality of the visitors has improved accordingly. TopWine China again proved to be the right show where French participants can meet the right people from the Beijing area. It is for sure that Ubifrance is coming back next year."

Ms. Nota Calvo, one of the Spanish represantatives said: "We have been to the Guanzhou wine exhibition before, but here at TopWine China the quality of the visitors is much better. If the Organizers are able to improve the logistics and customs formalities in Beijing, I surely believe that for the near future TopWine China has the potential to become the leading international wine exhibition and conference."

Mr. Christian Sotomayor, the Asia Manager of the Chilean winery Valdivieso remarked: "This is the first time that I participated at TopWine China and being here was a great pleasure. Overall the fair has been successful with plenty of new contacts showing a keen interest in our wines. There are many wine shows in China nowadays but I really believe in the future of TopWine China. It is almost certain I will be back next year and I will do my utmost to bring some more wineries from Chile."

Mr. Henry Ho, President of the Hong Kong Wine Merchants' Chamber of Commerce said: "I really do hope that the Organizers are able to find a bigger exhibition center for TopWine China 2012. It is a truly B2B event. The flow of visitors is not too big, but the quality is quite good. Most of them are professional buyers."
