TopWine China 2015 Breaks Attendance Record
Over 11.770 wine professionals attended the No. 1 international wine exhibition in North China
Wine experts from the Northern China Regions, the Northeast China Region and the Eastern China Region came together 4-6 June for the 2015 TopWine China International Exhibition and Conference (TWC) at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing. Over 11,770 visitors gathered at the annual event, demonstrating TWC's position as the leading wine forum to exchange ideas and opinions, have constructive discussions, build new relationships and develop new business. It is the largest attendance in the 6-year history of TWC.

Over the three intensive days attendance at TopWine China 2015 reached an impressive record number of 11.771 mainly Chinese wine professionals, such as importers, distributors, retailers and F & B managers. This is considerably more than in 2014 when 8.264 visitors came to visit TopWine China. A clear evidence that the wine industry in China is substantially increasing again after a short period of 'rebalancing' and that TopWine China is definitely recognised as the No. 1 international wine exhibition in North China. On Thursday June 4 a total of 4.678 visitors attended the show, on Friday June 5 the number of visitors was 3.976 and on the final day, Saturday June 6, 3.117 visitors came to the CNCC.

"I could not be happier with the success of this year's vibrant event," said Tony Kenter, managing director of BV Industrial Promotions International from the Netherlands and co-organiser of the event. "I have heard many enthusiastic endorsements about the event from the industry. The successful combination of top-level seminars, a busy and informative exhibition, and numerous wine tastings has rightly attracted leaders and decision-makers from across the Chinese wine industry in record numbers."

TopWine China 2015 was again a truly international gathering of wine professionals from all over the world. The show featured around 400 exhibitors representing 700 producers, showing their finest products. Besides regional pavilions from China itself TopWine China 2015 had country pavilions from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Hong Kong and the United States as well as from emerging regions like Moldova, Hungary, Georgia and Romania. And in most of the pavilions there were continuous wine tastings and workshops creating an opportunity for visitors to meet and talk to industry experts in a casual-relaxed atmosphere.

This year's event featured around 20 high-quality events for wine tasting, wine education and training in three separate seminar rooms of which one was the Pinor Sommelier VIP Lounge. This partnership between the TWC organisation and Pinor Sommelier was specially created to meet the rising demand for professional wine training in China and underlines TopWine China's striving for a sustainable long-term commitment on the Chinese wine market. Speakers presented their views on amongst others the influence of internet on the wine market, Chinese gastronomy with wines, and leveraging wine consumption in F & B in China. The seminars and masterclasses were really full of people each day, making TopWine China more valuable for its attendees and participants.

The next TopWine China will take place from
June 15 to 17, 2016, again in the CNCC in Beijing.
